At ISL, based inTranmere, Merseyside we operate a supported living project dedicated to empowering individuals with complex mental health needs. Our service supports 8 people in self-contained apartments, enhanced by the latest assistive technology. We aim to support individuals to live as independently and confidently as possible.

What you’ll do:

The Deputy will supervise a small number of staff and be responsible for key areas as delegated by the Service Manager. Such as completing supervisions, risk assessments, rotas and care plans

You will provide outcome-focused, person-centered support that promotes independence and maximises opportunities for the people we support. Your role will further include:

· Supporting with medication management

· Teaching and encouraging life skills

· Assisting with daily living tasks

· Facilitating community access and engagement

· Providing emotional support

· Helping manage tenancies

· Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible support

Who we’re looking for:

We need a full-time deputy manager (37.5 hours a week) ready to work across day and night shifts, working around a 7-day rota and being on call once a week. Full induction is provided.

Additional Information:

· All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

· Please note: we do not offer sponsorship

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £28,177.50 per year
