Full job description

Celino's Italian Trattoria in Glasgow’s Westend G11 6AB are looking for a strong chef de partie.

4 day or 5 day working week.

The successful candidate will be:
Confident and dedicated to producing a very high standard of meat, fish and pasta dishes.

A clean and tidy worker, maintaining a professional and respectful work
environment at all times insuring food safety is adhered to and recorded.

Work well with other team members to ensure customers and team satisfaction.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitised.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines at all times.
Help train new kitchen staff as required, sharing knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.

Requirements

Proven experience as a chef de partie.
Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A genuine passion for cooking and delivering high-quality meals.
