LEAD GENERATION – Office Based, Bridgwater. Salary starting from £45k

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a driven and ambitious Lead Generator to help expand our customer base, create new business opportunities and strengthen our market presence.

THE ROLE:

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you'll play a vital role in driving business growth by identifying and creating new sales opportunities across targeted market sectors. You'll proactively engage with prospective customers, building relationships through meaningful conversations to understand their needs and identify where our fire protection and security solutions can add value.

Your focus will be on generating high-quality, qualified leads and securing appointments for our Directors, providing them with opportunities that can be converted into long-term customer relationships.

You'll also be responsible for building and managing a healthy pipeline of prospects, maintaining accurate records within our CRM system and ensuring all customer interactions are captured effectively. By monitoring your activity and conversion performance, you'll identify trends, uncover opportunities for improvement and continuously refine your approach to maximise results.

YOU

You will:

Be an ambitious, proactive lead generation professional with a proven track record of generating high-quality leads and converting them into qualified sales opportunities.
Be a confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to build relationships, influence decision-makers and engage prospective customers.
Be self-motivated, resilient and target-driven, with the determination to achieve and exceed sales objectives.
Take ownership of your own performance, demonstrating confidence, accountability and a proactive approach to delivering results.
Be an active listener, able to understand customer needs, identify opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions.
Have excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and opportunities effectively.
Be commercially aware, with a genuine curiosity about customer challenges, market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to ensure the smooth progression of qualified opportunities through the sales pipeline.
Have previous experience in telesales, telemarketing, or an internal sales role.
Be confident using a CRM system to accurately manage customer information, track activity and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
Demonstrate a positive, professional attitude with the drive to continually learn, develop and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
