Full job description

About the role

A great opportunity for a confident Credit Controller who can start as soon as possible. Primary task will be to manage outstanding balance on customer accounts with various payment cycles and in GBP, USD and EUR.

Also support the Finance team in other accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities/Duties

The ideal candidate will have credit control experience and exposure to all aspects of accounts and finance. Able to balance speed and accuracy and keep calm when the workload is high, the upside is you will never be bored.

Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate positive outcomes with our customers. Needless to say you will have excellent IT workplace skills, it would be a bonus if you have previously handled E Commerce customer accounts like Amazon etc and have used the SAP accounting package.

Any other roles that may be assigned from time to time.

About you

Thorough understanding of accountancy and book-keeping up to trial balance

Proven workplace numeracy skills and accuracy

Computer literate, good data entry speed and capable of utilising MS Excel tools. Knowledge of SAP Business One would be desirable

Confident inter-personal skills to deal with customers and external contacts

Excellent attention to detail and diligence

Ability to efficiently prioritise and organise work

Self-motivated and determined to succeed

Friendly, pro-active and flexible team member

Standard Conditions

Salary £25,974 FTE based on 37.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday minimum 30 hours per week (09:00 to 15:00 part-time), possible full-time for the right candidate
