Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part Time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a professional kitchen environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to specified recipes and standards
Assist with meal planning and portion control to ensure consistency and quality
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
Ensure all food is stored correctly, adhering to hygiene standards
Follow health and safety procedures at all times during food preparation and service
Assist in the setup and close of the kitchen before and after shifts
Skills
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is desirable but not essential
Flexibility to adapt to different tasks within the kitchen as needed
As we’re in a tourism setting, must be prepared to work weekends including bank holiday weekends
Some split shifts and preparing breakfast for accommodation guests some days will be required

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
