Full job description

Part Time Chef/Cook
Wenvoe Castle Golf Club are looking to recruit a Part Time Chef/Cook.

About the Chef job:

Main Skills & Responsibilities include:

· Prep, cook and assemble dishes and make sure that they go out on time

· Be in charge of the kitchen and be a good 'all-rounder’ with a sound knowledge of cooking

· To understand and comply with food hygiene regulations

· To follow Health and Safety Policies and Procedures

· Maintain quality and quantity control in all aspects, from portion control to freshness of the product presented

· Ensure that the cleaning of kitchen and food service areas are to the agreed standard and that all equipment is clean and in good working order

· Produce all necessary food for all service operations as required.

About you:

Ideal candidates will be experienced within a busy environment and have the following experience:

· Experience of working in a busy kitchen

· Technical skills (cooking techniques, knowing how to cook, store and serve food)

· An understanding & experience of food hygiene and health and safety

· Self-motivation

· Flexibility

· Teamwork and communication skills

· Attention to detail to ensure consistent, high standards

· Commitment, loyalty and most of all reliable.

· A hard-working and calm approach

· The ability to work without supervision

Own transport is a must due to our location
