Yard Sales Adviser

Jewson a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is looking for a Yard Sales Adviser for our busy yard, who is as passionate about great service as we are.

We are looking for a Yard Sales Adviser to join the successful, supportive team at our branch in Penzance .

What You’ll Be Doing

Acknowledge every customer, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service

Ask open questions to build strong relationships and understand our customers current and future requirements so we can support all their needs

Maintain excellent standards across the yard, counter and shop floor

Operate machinery safely and carry out key operational activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles

Support business initiatives to increase sales, margin & service as required

Continually develop your knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs

Loading and unloading vehicles both manually and with a forklift (training will be provided)

Working Hours:

This is a part -time role working Monday-Friday 0 7 : 3 0 – 12 : 00 , and every other Saturday from 08:00-12:00 . Flexibility to work additional hours when needed is required.
