Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team in the vibrant hospitality sector in Newquay. This permanent, full-time role is essential for ensuring a warm welcome for our guests and providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience and supporting the smooth operation of our establishment.

Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries promptly.
Handle reservations and check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to guests.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Handle guest complaints and feedback with professionalism and care.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in using office software and telephone systems.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
