Food & Beverage Supervisor

Dunalastair Hotel Suites – Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at Dunalastair Hotel Suites, a five-star boutique hotel located in the heart of the Scottish Highlands.

Working across The Macnab Restaurant, The Tipsy Stag Bar, breakfast service, afternoon tea and private events, you will support the Food & Beverage Manager in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the high standards expected of a luxury hotel.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys leading from the front, supporting colleagues and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant, bar, breakfast and event operations
Lead and motivate the Food & Beverage team during service
Ensure guests receive friendly, attentive and professional service
Conduct pre-service briefings and allocate duties to team members
Maintain five-star standards of presentation, cleanliness and service
Support the Food & Beverage Manager with staff training and development
Assist with rotas, timekeeping and managing labour within agreed targets
Ensure all opening, closing and cash-handling procedures are completed correctly
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering, stock control and inventory counts
Develop strong knowledge of the food, wine, whisky and beverage menus
Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns professionally
Ensure compliance with food hygiene, licensing, allergen and health and safety requirements
Work closely with the kitchen, reception and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth hotel operations
Support private dining, group bookings, special events and seasonal functions

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Has previous supervisory experience within a restaurant, bar, hotel or hospitality environment
Has a genuine passion for food, drink and guest service
Is confident leading and supporting a team during busy services
Communicates clearly and professionally
Is organised, reliable and able to remain calm under pressure
Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in presentation
Is comfortable dealing with guest feedback and operational challenges
Has knowledge of wines, spirits and cocktails, or is eager to learn
Is flexible and willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Has experience using EPOS, reservation or rota-management systems; training will be provided
Understands the standards required within a luxury or five-star hospitality environment

Pay: £14.00 per hour
