Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Automotive Detailer to join our team. This role involves ensuring vehicles are cleaned, polished, and maintained to the highest standards, providing our customers with a pristine and professional appearance. The successful candidate will play a vital part in enhancing customer satisfaction through meticulous attention to detail and excellent service. Prior experience in janitorial work or customer service is advantageous, and a valid driving licence is preferred for certain duties. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills within the automotive industry in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail vehicles thoroughly, including washing, vacuuming, polishing, and interior cleaning
Ensure all vehicles meet company quality standards before delivery or customer collection
Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Assist with minor repairs or touch-ups as required to uphold vehicle presentation standards
Drive vehicles as needed for test drives or movement within the premises
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally and courteously
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Skills

Proven experience in janitorial work or vehicle cleaning is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail with an eye for quality finishings
Good driving skills with a valid driving licence preferred; ability to operate company vehicles safely and responsibly
Excellent customer service skills, capable of engaging positively with clients and team members
Organised with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,420.00-£29,600.00 per year
