An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist to join our Band 6 rotational programme at Scarborough General Hospital. This post offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills across Surgery, Critical Care and Medicine whilst working within a supportive and forward-thinking multidisciplinary team.
This rotational role is ideal for a physiotherapist looking to broaden their acute clinical experience, enhance leadership and supervision skills, and develop expertise in the management of complex patients across a range of specialties.
To work collaboratively as part of the team to support the delivery of high-quality therapy services across critical care and surgical caseloads, working closely with the senior leadership team.
To provide specialist guidance and advice to therapy staff and the wider multidisciplinary team.
To use patient-centred approaches to patient care.
To participate in and provide clinical and management supervision.
To contribute to multi-disciplinary team working.
To contribute to and lead on service improvement and quality initiatives.
To contribute to educational teaching programmes for Respiratory on-call training.
To use the Trust electronic patient record system.
To abide by all Trust policies and procedures.
To be able to respond flexibly and creatively to challenges.
