Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House team member to join our vibrant hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and have a memorable experience. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry to develop their skills in a dynamic environment. Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
Take and serve orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Provide excellent guest services, addressing any queries or special requests with professionalism
Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Handle payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and waiting areas
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
Assist in food safety practices, including proper handling and serving of food and beverages
Support with basic food preparation tasks as required during busy periods
Manage time effectively during shifts to ensure prompt service delivery

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and serving protocols is advantageous
Familiarity with food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour suitable for guest interactions
Basic maths skills for handling payments and bills accurately
Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue generation
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
