Full job description

Shortcuts GrangePark is looking to recruit a Children’s Salon manager/Senior Team member. This is a huge opportunity for someone who is passionate about hairdressing, loves working with children, and is ready to take the next step into a leadership role. This is a great opportunity to grow with the business, and as a reward for your efforts and dedication you will be rewarded with an annual profit share bonus.

As Salon Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the salon, ensuring a high standard of service, organisation, and team support at all times with the support of the director.

Key Responsibilities

Cutting hair of all ages and managing our get timely system.
Oversee the daily operations of the salon.
Support and manage the team to ensure a positive working environment.
Ensure all clients receive excellent customer service.
Handle bookings, scheduling, and general organisation.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the salon.
Deal with customer queries or concerns professionally.
Monitor staff performance and provide guidance where needed.
Supporting development of work experience students.
Ensure salon policies and procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

Qualified hairdresser and barber is a must!
Previous salon experience essential
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
Confident working with children including SEND.
Reliable, organised, and proactive

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
