Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and vigilant Corporate SIA Security Officer to uphold safety and security across our premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the site, preventing unauthorised access, and ensuring the safety of all personnel and property. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and proactive loss prevention measures.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter unauthorised access and identify potential security risks.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting incidents promptly.
Manage access control points, verifying identities and maintaining visitor logs as required.
Respond swiftly to emergencies, including medical incidents, by providing first aid when necessary.
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with company procedures.
Liaise effectively with local authorities or emergency services during incidents or emergencies.

Qualifications

Valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
Proven experience in security, surveillance, or loss prevention is desirable.
First aid certification is mandatory; training can be provided if necessary.
Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform patrols across large areas. This position offers a vital role in safeguarding our environment, requiring a dedicated individual with a professional approach to security duties.

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
