Full job description

Admin Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and professional Admin Assistant to join our team.

This role would suit someone who is organised, hardworking and able to work both independently and as part of a small team. The successful applicant will need to be trustworthy, confidential and able to follow all relevant policies, procedures and legislation.

Hours: Flexible
Wage: Dependent on qualifications, experience and suitability for the role

Main duties may include:

General office administration and day-to-day paperwork
Answering emails, phone calls and messages in a professional manner
Keeping records accurate, organised and up to date
Supporting with filing, scanning, printing and data entry
Maintaining confidentiality at all times
Following relevant legislation, policies and procedures
Supporting managers and other team members where needed
Communicating professionally with staff, parents, visitors and outside agencies
Helping to keep the office organised and running smoothly

The ideal candidate will be:

Organised and able to prioritise tasks
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Professional and respectful
Friendly and approachable
Honest, trustworthy and discreet
Able to maintain confidentiality
Confident with basic computer/admin systems
Willing to learn and take direction
Able to use initiative when appropriate
Calm, polite and professional when dealing with others

Previous admin experience would be an advantage, but the most important qualities are reliability, professionalism, confidentiality, organisation and a positive attitude.

This is a flexible role and the exact duties, hours and rate of pay will be discussed depending on the applicant’s skills, experience and qualifications.

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
