Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive financial planning assistant to support a busy Financial Adviser. The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, be proficient in various office software, and demonstrate a professional attitude. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic financial environment, providing vital support to ensure smooth daily operations and client service.

Responsibilities

Diary & Client Management
Full ownership and management of the adviser’s diary.
Schedule, rearrange and coordinate client meetings and review appointments.
Manage client communications relating to appointments and meeting preparation.
Prepare any additional meeting pack information for the most complex cases and opportunities where the Adviser has identified non standard agenda items.
Take ownership of progressing client cases from initial discussion through to implementation
Monitor outstanding actions across all active client cases and ensure timely progression.
Proactively chase outstanding information preventing business progress from clients, colleagues and third parties.
Maintain a clear pipeline of active cases and provide regular updates to the adviser.
Identify bottlenecks and ensure cases continue to progress between adviser meetings and decision points.

Experience

Strong organisational and diary management skills.
Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
High attention to detail.
Ability to understand and explain technical financial concepts.
Strong problem solving skills and a proactive approach.
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Professional, trustworthy and client-focused.
Comfortable taking ownership and driving tasks through to completion.
Ambitious with a desire to progress within financial services.
Previous experience supporting financial professionals or within the financial planning sector is essential

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
