Overview

We are a growing electrical company delivering high-quality domestic and commercial installations, including smart home and automation systems. Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and be capable of performing maintenance, installation, and repair work across various settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in electrical work to contribute to safe and efficient operations within our organisation.

Duties

- Carrying out domestic and light commercial electrical installations
- Consumer unit upgrades and rewires
- Fault finding and testing
- Installation of lighting, power, and smart home systems
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations
- Completing certification and job documentation

Essential Requirements:

- JIB Gold Card Electrician (or working towards)

- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Strong fault-finding ability

- Good communication and customer-facing skills

Must Haves:

- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)

- Experience in domestic and commercial work

- Ideally trained in Control4 and/or KNX systems (not essential)

- Interest in smart home and home automation technologies

- Experience with EV chargers or home automation systems (bonus)
