Band C. Annualised teaching hours: 417.5 - 536 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Permanent, flexible fractional.

Associate Lecturer Scales 1 - 4, £26,387 - £31,140 per annum, pro rata. Main Grade Scales 1 - UP1, £33,596 - £48,289 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers).

NPTC Group of Colleges - To be based at Llandarcy Academy of Sport (to also provide support to Brecon College).

About you: Ideally you will have a teaching qualification (although training may be provided) along with a level 6 qualification (degree or equivalent) in the subject area and have relevant experience. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are also required (GCSE or equivalent). With the impact the digital world is having on teaching and learning candidates will also need to be IT literate to at least level 2.

We have a range of potential flexible working options available including sabbatical leave and job share, where it meets the needs of the College. Sickness benefits here are generous, and staff are also provided with free access to independent occupational health, the Employee Support Helpline, a 24-hour life management and personal support helpline. The College also employs a dedicated Heath and Wellbeing Co-ordinator, who provides support and organises very popular events across the Group, as well as providing access to a variety of free wellbeing resources.

There is free car parking at all of our main colleges as well as bike storage, and If you are based in the South we can also offer a 10% discount at the Lilliput Day Nursery in Neath.

The College is an educator and as such we actively promote and encourage Continuous Professional Development for all of our staff; we may even be able to contribute to the fees for higher degrees and other qualifications helpful to your job.
