Join JH Turkington & Sons Ltd as a Commercial Sales Representative and become a key player in our ambitious commercial team. This is an exciting, newly created role focused on expanding our brand presence and driving sales across Northern Ireland and the border counties.

You will be instrumental in identifying and securing new business opportunities with builders, developers, and architects. Your mission will be to showcase quality products and service, building and maintaining industry-leading relationships with commercial clients. This involves preparing and issuing detailed quotations and contracts for our trade customers.

We are looking for a proactive and results-driven individual who can develop and execute a strategy to introduce Turkington to a wider customer base. If you thrive on meeting sales targets, enjoy liaising with clients on design and delivery, and have a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity to make a significant impact within a respected company.

About The Role

As a Commercial Sales Representative, your day-to-day will be dynamic and engaging. You'll be identifying new leads, developing strategies to win new business, and liaising directly with clients and architects to finalise designs and secure new work. This role isn't just about sales; it's about building lasting partnerships and representing the Turkington standard of quality.

This position offers fantastic growth potential within our commercial division. You'll gain invaluable experience in technical sales within the construction industry, with opportunities to develop your skills in negotiation, project estimation, and client management. Required Criteria

Excellent IT literacy and knowledge of Microsoft office products
GCSE or equivalent at Grade C or above in 5 subjects to include English and Maths.
Ability to read construction drawings and understand technical specification documents.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Self-motivated with a desire to succeed within the team.
A full current driving licence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Highly organised and proficient in prioritising workload
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline effectively
At least 3 years experience in a Sales role

Desired Criteria

Experience in the technical aspects of uPVC and composite products
Experience of Supply Chain management of Construction Materials
HND or equivalent in Building Studies, Construction, Surveying or similar.
Recognised Construction / Window industry training.
Experience of and ability to use Autocad.
Experience in a Technical Sales/Specification role in the construction or window industry.
Strong commercial acumen.
Experience in the management of suppliers on technical and quality issues throughout the supply chain.
Excellent negotiation skills
Sales experience in the Windows or Construction Industry
