Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking for an experienced and enthusiastic Barista to join our team on a part time basis.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area, including washing utensils and cleaning surfaces regularly.
Provide outstanding customer service by taking orders accurately, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalised recommendations.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure hygiene and safety compliance at all times.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or service standards.

Experience

Previous experience as a Barista is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment is desirable.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Strong organisational skills and effective time management are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours. This role offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills in food preparation, customer service, and coffee artistry while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
