About Us

SkyTop Construction & Surveying Ltd is a growing construction, maintenance and surveying company serving residential and commercial clients across the South Coast. We undertake a wide range of projects including extensions, structural alterations, property repairs, roofing works, fire door installations, insurance works and planned maintenance.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Multi-Trader with strong bricklaying and carpentry skills to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied position working on a range of projects including residential extensions, refurbishment works, maintenance contracts and insurance repairs.

Your duties will include:

Brickwork repairs and new construction
Building extension and alteration works
Structural opening preparations
Carpentry and joinery works
Door, frame and skirting installations
Stud wall construction
Kitchen fitting and general carpentry
Roofing and external repair works (desirable)
General multi-trade building works
Working independently and as part of a team
Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in bricklaying and carpentry
Experience working as a multi-trader within the construction industry
Ability to undertake a variety of building and maintenance tasks
Good understanding of construction methods and building regulations
Full UK Driving Licence
Strong problem-solving skills
Reliable, professional and self-motivated
Ability to work from drawings and specifications

Desirable Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Bricklaying, Carpentry or Construction
First Aid at Work
IPAF
Experience with insurance reinstatement works
Experience with fire door installation and maintenance
