Job Details for Duty Manager:

Part-time position, 4 shifts per week as part of a 7-day rota
Includes evenings and weekends
Occasional overtime

Requirements for Duty Manager

Excellent customer care
Good communicator
Positive, 'can-do' attitude
Team player
Competent swimmer
Previous supervisory experience (preferred)

Responsibilities of Duty Manager

Assisting in the day to day running of the health club
Reception duties & membership enquiries
Supporting the Club Manager to meet sales and retention targets
Lifeguarding
Organisation & motivation of the shift team
Maintaining cleanliness meets the highest standards
Pool & spa water testing inc chemical correction as required
Basic pool plant maintenance
Ensuring a friendly, fun and safe environment for members, guests and colleagues.

Please note that it is necessary for applicants to show competency in swimming in order to be considered for this position; a swim test will be completed as part of the recruitment process. A Lifeguarding qualification (NPLQ) would be a distinct advantage but full training is available to the right candidate.
