Build Your Career in Construction Management

Stonehouse Building Contractors is a growing construction company delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects. We pride ourselves on professionalism, attention to detail, and building long-term relationships with our clients.

We are looking for a motivated and organised Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of our projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a long-term career in construction management, with a clear progression pathway into a Project Manager role.

Working closely with our Directors and site teams, you'll gain hands-on experience across all stages of project delivery while developing valuable project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Support the planning and coordination of construction projects from start to completion
Assist with project administration, documentation, programmes, and reporting
Liaise with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams
Monitor project progress, timelines, and costs
Attend site meetings and record actions
Support procurement of materials and subcontractor packages
Help ensure compliance with Health & Safety requirements and company procedures
Assist in resolving project and site issues to maintain programme delivery

Skills & Experience

Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Construction industry experience or a trade background is highly desirable
Full UK driving licence preferred

Qualifications

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds, including:

Construction-related trade qualifications (NVQ)
HNC/HND in Construction or a related discipline
Practical site or construction experience

A degree is not essential. We value practical experience, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
