Bank Residential Support Worker

Salary & Benefits

Hourly rate: £13.25 to £14.00 per hour, depending on experience and tier placement

Sleep in payment: £54.00 per sleep

What you'll do

Provide direct care and emotional support to children and young people
Help with daily routines, activities, appointments, and home life
Support positive behaviour and help maintain a safe environment
Work alongside permanent staff to provide consistency and stability
Follow safeguarding procedures and company policies at all times
Build positive relationships with children, young people, and colleagues
Complete records and handovers accurately when required

What we're looking for

Essential:

A genuine passion for working with children and young people aged 8-18
Ability to adapt quickly to different homes and teams
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

12 months experience working in children’s residential care or a similar setting
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or willingness to work towards it
Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural needs
