Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and demonstrate a high level of professionalism in supporting our solicitors with various legal tasks. This role requires excellent communication abilities and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. The Paralegal will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our legal processes while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings.
Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
Organise and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up to date and easily accessible.
Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal matters.
Manage schedules and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Utilise Microsoft Office applications to create reports, spreadsheets, and presentations as required.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal standards.

Experience

Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment is preferred.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and IT systems relevant to the legal field.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all work produced.
