Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pizza Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Pizza Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious Pizza that delight our guests while ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of Pizzas according to established recipes and menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist in menu planning, including seasonal specials and dietary requirements.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and food safety practices.
Participate in the development of new recipes and presentation styles to enhance dining experiences.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pizza Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
A creative mindset with the ability to innovate menu items while maintaining quality standards.
Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
A culinary qualification or relevant training is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
