Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our Italian Restaurant. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience and will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and extensive knowledge of food service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a vibrant restaurant environment, ensuring exceptional customer service and operational excellence.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen operations
Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding hospitality experiences
Oversee food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels
Develop staff schedules, monitor performance, and facilitate training programmes
Ensure the delivery of high-quality food production and presentation
Handle customer feedback and resolve any service issues promptly
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the restaurant premises
Collaborate with culinary team to innovate menu offerings and optimise kitchen efficiency

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead diverse staff groups
Extensive restaurant experience, including food preparation, cooking, and serving roles
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Background in culinary arts or hospitality management is desirable
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
Experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential
Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
