Leda Group is partnering with a leading UK construction and infrastructure organisation to recruit an experienced Bid Manager to join their high-performing work-winning team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially focused bid professional who has a proven track record of securing major contracts and converting opportunities into successful project awards.

The Role

As Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, leading submissions for high-value opportunities across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working closely with operational, commercial and technical stakeholders, you will develop compelling, customer-focused proposals that differentiate the business and maximise win rates.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping bid strategy, managing tender programmes and ensuring submissions are delivered to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the complete bid lifecycle from PQQ through to final submission.
Develop winning bid strategies aligned to client requirements and business objectives.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to produce high-quality, compliant submissions.
Facilitate bid workshops, storyboarding sessions and review meetings.
Write, edit and enhance persuasive bid content and executive summaries.
Analyse customer requirements, competitor positioning and market intelligence.
Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and bid performance reviews.
Maintain bid governance, compliance and quality assurance processes.

About You

Proven experience in a Bid Manager role within construction, infrastructure, engineering or a related sector.
Demonstrable track record of winning work and successfully converting opportunities into secured contracts.
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of public and private sector procurement.
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to influence senior leaders and coordinate cross-functional teams.
Excellent written communication and proposal development capability.
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
