Are you looking to start a career in counselling training?
We are seeking a sessional lecturer to deliver Level 1 and Level 2 counselling courses at our Hastings and Eastbourne campuses.

This exciting role will include:

Teaching Level 1 and Level 2 Counselling
Being part of a passionate and experienced team
Helping students to develop personally, professionally and academically

If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you:

Qualified person-centred or humanistic counsellor
Ability to work alone with support
Teaching experience or group facilitation experience.

We welcome applications from candidates with who have worked as professional counsellors but may have no/limited teaching experience. We can offer teacher development and qualifications to enable teaching success.

Closing date: Tuesday 7th July 2026

Interview Date: Tuesday 21st July 2026

College location: Based cross-college Eastbourne/Hastings

Annual salary: £32.41 - £45.85 per hour

(Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours: Part-time sessional, some evening work required
