Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills, culinary experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Duties

Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality dishes in line with restaurant standards
Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
Oversee food production processes, maintaining consistency and presentation standards
Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Contribute to menu development by suggesting new dishes and improvements
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
Train junior team members in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safety procedures

Experience

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Extensive food production and culinary experience, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques
Demonstrable kitchen experience with knowledge of food safety standards
Leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively under pressure
Experience in restaurant service and serving is advantageous but not essential
Familiarity with hospitality operations and customer service principles

45 Hour Contract
