Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hair and Beauty Tutor to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training programmes to students aspiring to excel in hairdressing and beauty therapy. This role offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise, inspire learners, and contribute to their professional development. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and relevant industry experience, ensuring students receive comprehensive and engaging tuition.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging lessons on hairdressing, beauty therapy, and related practical skills in line with curriculum standards
Develop customised training plans tailored to individual student needs and learning objectives
Assess student progress through practical demonstrations, written assessments, and feedback sessions
Maintain a safe and organised learning environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
Provide guidance on industry best practices, current trends, and professional standards
Support students in developing their technical skills, confidence, and employability prospects
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and certification documentation
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve course content and teaching methods

Experience

Proven experience in the hairdressing or beauty therapy industry, with relevant qualifications recognised by industry standards
Previous teaching or training experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills to effectively engage learners
Proficiency in IT tools for lesson planning, assessments, and administrative tasks
Organisational skills to manage multiple classes and ensure timely completion of coursework
Ability to motivate students and foster a positive learning environment
