Full job description

Part-time Saturday & Sunday shifts

Minimum hours 10-4pm

Could be additional hours/days as the business demands.

Duties:

Keeping the kitchen, equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
Following food safety and hygiene.
Preparing, cooking and serving food from our menu.
Practising first in, first out (FIFO) with stock rotation to keep all food fresh.
Help to take in food deliveries and put away stock.
Stock the display fridge and ensure products are properly displayed.
Prepare food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures.
Assist and serve customers quickly, in a friendly and professional manner.
Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized seating area & cafe environment.
Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management.

Experience:

Health & Hygiene level 2 preferred.
Previous experience in retail & customer service is essential.
Previous experience in the food industry setting is preferred.
Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner.
