Here at GXO, we’re working in partnership with Waitrose and are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our team in Reading. This is a full‑time, permanent position, working an ’any 5 days out of 7’ shift pattern, covering morning or afternoon shift: 06:00 – 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 hours.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

Our Warehouse Operatives work in the freezer and support the picking of customer orders
You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
Working towards daily productivity and performance targets
Maintaining high housekeeping, hygiene, and safety standards at all times

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previously working in chilled/ freezer warehouse environment
Experience in using MHE - LLOP/PPT/FLT
Flexibility in your approach – we do have peak seasons
Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
Commitment to Health & Safety and maintaining operational standards
