Temporary Sales Executive role at Vagabond Wines

We are an award-winning, high fiving, people loving, training leading, independent wine bar and kitchen.

We offer 100+ delicious wines by the glass, available to sample and explore via our bespoke wine dispensers, a seasonal sharing menu and our very own, very cool, urban winery in Battersea Power Station where we make amazing English wines.

Our guests overall experience is in your hands and as such we are looking for a unique individual who is:

Passionate about delivering world class service and loves interacting with our guests
Passionate about people
Well presented and trustworthy
Able to deliver an earth shattering high five
Able to sell a thing to a person who already has an abundance of said things thus not needing the thing they just bought

You will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly and above all, a total ledge.

The Role:

You would have 2 years within the hospitality industry experience and 2 years in the sales environment.

A few but not all of the exciting tasks involved in being a Sales & Events Exec…

Responding in a timely manner to sales enquiries
Carry out client show rounds/venue viewings
Being able to add value to chats about the best snacks out there, samples welcome
End-to-end ownership of event planning and delivery with overall account responsibility
Ensure the bookings system is up to date and captures all relevant information to produce accurate function sheets
To conduct post-event, follow-up research with the client with the aim of securing repeat business
You. Are. The. After. Party.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and pricing
Working closely with site managers to understand their venues and support for bookings and events
