Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician to join our professional service team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in vehicle diagnostics, repair, and maintenance, specialising in Toyota models. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technology, providing exceptional service to our valued customers. The successful applicant will demonstrate exceptional technical skills, a strong commitment to quality, and a passion for automotive excellence.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using advanced equipment and software to identify vehicle issues accurately.
Perform complex repairs and maintenance on Toyota vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
Utilise schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle problems efficiently.
Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques.
Maintain detailed records of all diagnostic procedures, repairs, and parts used for each vehicle serviced.
Assist in training junior technicians and apprentices to uphold high standards of workmanship.
Ensure all work complies with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Master Diagnostic Technician or Diagnostic Technician, specialising in Toyota vehicles or similar brands.
Extensive knowledge of schematics, electrical systems, mechanical components, and automotive repair techniques.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software.
Strong understanding of assembly processes and maintenance procedures.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Physical capability for heavy lifting and performing repairs in various positions.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.
Relevant certifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent are preferred but not essential.
