Join sheepCRM
We’re now looking for a commercially minded, hands-on Sales Account Executive or Manager who is specifically experienced selling software systems to the Association and not for profit membership sector, to join the team and play an important part in the next stage of sheepCRM’s growth by helping us win new business.
Join sheepCRM and be part of a growing UK SaaS business with a big ambition: to become the go-to CRM for membership organisations.
At sheepCRM, we help membership organisations modernise how they work — from managing members, events, communications, and payments through to improving member experience, internal efficiency, and long-term growth. Our platform gives organisations the tools they need to reduce manual admin, strengthen relationships with their members, and operate with more clarity, confidence, and control.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with real momentum, a strong sense of purpose, and a product that delivers meaningful value to the organisations it serves.
We work with membership organisations that play important roles in their sectors and communities, and our software helps them do that work better.
For the right person, this is a chance to take real ownership, make a visible impact, and grow with the business as we continue to strengthen our sales function and win new customers.
The role
This is a broad, consultative tech sales role for someone who is driven and motivated to own opportunities, build momentum, and win business.
You’ll take responsibility for qualified sales opportunities, leading them through discovery, qualification, commercial progression, contracting coordination, and handover into Customer Success. You’ll work closely with other specialists across the business where needed, but you’ll be the person helping keep the opportunity moving to the decision stage. This reflects sheepCRM’s model of clear deal ownership, strong discovery, disciplined follow-up, and smooth handover.
This is not a pure “sit back and manage the pipeline” role. We’re looking for someone who is happy to get into the detail, implement process well, follow through properly, and help us turn good opportunities into signed customers from inbound generated leads but also from your own outreach activity when that is required or the plan.
Depending on the opportunity and team needs, the role may also support other areas of the sales cycle, including demos, follow-up calls, proposal walkthroughs, and broader customer-facing sales activity. The current sales process and role design both allow for this kind of flexible ownership depending on structure, capacity, and deal needs.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning qualified opportunities from discovery through to signed agreement and handover
- Working closely with Marketing on lead generation insight, messaging feedback, and ideas for support and sales content
- Performing outreach and outbound lead generation and relationship building actions.
- Running discovery calls and qualifying prospects effectively
- Understanding customer goals, pain points, stakeholders, timelines, and buying process
- Keeping deals moving with clear next steps and strong follow-up
- Managing CRM records, notes, stage progression, and sales admin in HubSpot
- Coordinating proposals, quotes, contracts, and related follow-up
- Working with internal specialists across demos, solutions, product, technical questions, and onboarding where needed
- Supporting smooth handover into Customer Success once deals close
- Helping improve sales process, consistency, and ways of working over time
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Minimum 3 years experience in SaaS or B2B tech sales
- Minimum 12 months experience selling software systems and solutions to the Association Management or not from profit membership sector.
- Strong consultative selling skills, especially in discovery and qualification
- Confidence managing opportunities through multiple stages towards decision
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Good commercial judgement and follow-through
- High level of organisation and process discipline
- Confidence using CRM systems to manage pipeline and records
- Comfortable working remotely and independently
- Willingness to be hands-on and help build within a growing sales function
- High level of ambition and drive
Desirable
- Experience in full-cycle sales
- HubSpot experience
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, or evolving commercial environment
- Two years+ Experience selling to membership organisations, associations, or similar sectors
- Experience supporting demos or broader sales activity beyond core account ownership
The existing sales executive template also emphasises consultative SaaS selling, full-cycle responsibility, CRM discipline, and comfort in a remote environment, which remain central to this role.
Who you are
You’re likely to do well in this role if you:
- enjoy owning opportunities and driving them forward
- are commercially motivated and target-focused
- know how to balance relationship-building with momentum
- are organised, proactive, and reliable
- are comfortable switching between customer conversations and internal coordination
- like working with specialists without losing ownership yourself
- want to grow with a business and take on more responsibility over time
Why join sheepCRM

Working arrangements
- Fully remote, UK-based

- Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
- Flexible around customer and business needs
- Tools include HubSpot, Google Workspace, and AI-assisted note-taking/follow-up tools.
