Full job description

This role includes the following duties:

Manage a CRM Database ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date
Manage a shared inbox, answering enquiries and forwarding messages to the appropriate team member
Respond to all inbound enquiries, requests and donations received (via phone, email, in writing or in person) in a prompt, efficient and helpful manner
Monitor messages received on Social Media (within work time)
Ensure all donations are recorded and thanked in a timely manner
Assist with funding applications
Monitoring of existing funding
Assist with the day to day support of the office volunteers, providing guidance, support and supervision for their weekly tasks
Support the Chief Exec and Services Manager by assisting with communications with external agencies including face to face and telephone/email
Represent the Charity at Community Events.
Co-ordinate & Host monthly Parent / Carer engagement opportunities & Day Trips.
Monitor messages received on Social Media (within work time).
Ensure compliance at all times with legislation
Provide ad-hoc cover to the reception during busy periods and periods of absence and holidays
Support with project-based administration for charity schemes, key fundraising events and appeals
Any other tasks or duties which are commensurate with the duties and responsibilities of this post.

Person Specification

Essential

Desirable

Education and Training

· Educated to degree level / and or equivalent experience in a community engagement role.

Working knowledge and understanding of autism spectrum conditions

· Safeguarding training

· Data protection training

· European Computer Drivers Licence or other quals using Microsoft Outlook

Experience

· Excellent analytical and numeracy skills

· Experience of providing administrative support to a busy team

· Experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams

· Cash handling and banking experience

· Experience of using a CRM database

· Experience of working to multiple, competing deadlines and ability to prioritise

· Experience of working in a result driven, fast paced environment

· Experience of using Microsoft Sharepoint

· Experience of working with volunteers

· Knowledge of GDPR regulations and the Fundraising Codes of Practice

Skills and Knowledge

· Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people

· Adept at anticipating the needs of our supporters with natural empathy and compassion

· Strong organisational skills able to prioritise, analyse and make clear judgements

· Ability to adapt to frequent interruptions from both the internal team (staff and volunteers) and external (phone calls, visitors etc.)

· Ability to use own initiative and identify efficient and effective solutions to problems

· Strong IT and administrative skills and proficient in using CRMs and Outlook
