Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations within our vibrant establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality, and leading a team of dedicated staff. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional to utilise their management skills and culinary knowledge in a fast-paced environment. The Restaurant Manager will play a key role in fostering a welcoming atmosphere and driving the overall success of the restaurant.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate all restaurant activities, including food production, serving, and food preparation.
Manage staff schedules, delegate tasks, and oversee training programmes to ensure efficient service delivery.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing stock levels to optimise operational efficiency.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Monitor financial performance, including sales targets, budgeting, and cost control measures.
Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality experiences, fostering a positive team environment.
Organise staff meetings and training sessions to promote continuous improvement and team cohesion.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless food production and presentation standards are met consistently.

Skills

Proven management experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and supervise diverse teams.
Extensive knowledge of food production, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations.
Experience in serving, food preparation, and culinary arts is highly desirable.
Familiarity with restaurant operations including inventory management and financial oversight.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with staff and guests alike.
Knowledge of barista experience is a plus for managing beverage services efficiently.
Passion for hospitality with a keen eye for detail and customer satisfaction.
