Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pub Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a lively pub environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a solid background in food and beverage service. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage a team, ensure exceptional customer experiences, and uphold high standards of food safety and service. The Pub Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining smooth operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the delivery of quality food and drinks in a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily pub operations, ensuring efficient service and high standards of customer care
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and quality
Manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance management
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas
Assist with food production tasks when necessary, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
Serve drinks and food to customers in a professional and friendly manner
Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure availability of ingredients and supplies
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the pub environment, including bar, kitchen, and dining areas
Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and promote a safe environment for all patrons

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in restaurant or hotel environments is highly desirable
Ability to oversee food production processes effectively
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers
Familiarity with hospitality regulations and health & safety procedures
Previous experience serving in bars or restaurants, including barista experience is advantageous
Organised with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a lively pub atmosphere

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
