Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprayer to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to various products, ensuring high-quality standards are maintained throughout the process. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in fabrication, construction painting, or warehouse operations to utilise their technical skills in a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their expertise in spray application techniques and related tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for spraying by cleaning, sanding, or masking as required
Operate spray equipment safely and efficiently to apply coatings, paints, or finishes to products or surfaces
Set up and calibrate spray guns and other tools to ensure proper application
Maintain and clean spray equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance
Follow safety protocols at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist with minor fabrication or assembly tasks as needed
Work within specified timeframes to meet production schedules while maintaining quality standards
Document work activities accurately and report any issues or defects promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience with hand tools, power tools, and general shop facilitation processes
Knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to spray application equipment
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during setup and application processes
Previous warehouse experience or construction painting background is advantageous
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality assurance
Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle materials or equipment safely
