Job Summary
La Mancha tapas restaurant in the heart of Rochdale. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate (would be Spanish speaking but not essential) play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all guests receive top-notch hospitality throughout their visit.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
Serve food and beverages promptly, adhering to the restaurant’s standards of presentation.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing excellent guest services at all times.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of orders.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and glassware.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
Basic maths skills for processing bills and handling payments accurately.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
A passion for hospitality and providing outstanding guest services.
