Full job description

Service Coordinator:

Security Installation Services Limited (SIS) is a company serving clients in the Greater London area. We install and maintain a wide range of leading security and access control systems, backed up by excellent customer service and technical support. Our dedicated team of individuals offer a wealth of experience and versatility.

SIS have ensured that our workforce have a secure and safe environment in which to work since 1991. Employees can enhance their skills and expertise with on the job training and further training with the manufacturers we are partnered with.

Job Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate engineers' diaries, scheduling appointments and service visits efficiently.
Organise and allocate service jobs, ensuring work is completed within agreed timescales.
Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates, responding to enquiries, and delivering excellent customer service.
Order equipment, parts, and materials required for service jobs, ensuring availability when needed.
Liaise with engineers, suppliers, and customers to ensure service work is completed smoothly.
Maintain accurate records of service requests, appointments, and completed work.
Monitor outstanding jobs and proactively follow up to ensure timely completion.
Support the service team with general administrative duties and process improvements.

Skills and Experience:

Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Good IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and scheduling or service management systems.
A proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
Previous experience in a service coordination, scheduling, or administrative role is preferred.

Working Hours:

This is a part-time position, working 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The successful candidate will be expected to work consistently during these hours to support the day-to-day coordination of the service department. Flexibility to provide occasional additional cover during busy periods or staff holidays would be advantageous but is not essential.
