As a Warehouse Operative, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment handling multiple incoming and outgoing deliveries daily. You will be part of a close-knit team where collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency are essential to keeping operations running smoothly.

We are looking for a motivated and reliable individual who is collaborative and works well within a team. You will have a keen eye for detail, strong computer literacy, and previous experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP system.

Responsibilities

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts.
Managing shipping and receiving processes to ensure accurate documentation and timely dispatch of items.
Picking and packing orders with precision to meet customer specifications.
Stocking shelves and organising inventory within the warehouse to optimise space utilisation.
Operating warehouse management systems (WMS) to track stock levels, locations, and movements.
Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity.
Performing mechanical tasks related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Assisting with stock rotation, replenishment, and inventory counts as required.
Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times during daily operations.

Skills

Proficiency in materials handling techniques and familiarity with forklift operation (training provided if necessary).
Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements.
Strong organisational skills for stocking and maintaining orderly storage areas.
Attention to detail for quality control checks and accurate order fulfilment.
Physical capability for heavy lifting and load/unload activities, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
