Fabricator / Welder

Up to £17.38 per hour (dependent on experience)
40 hours per week | Early Finish Every Friday | Permanent Position

ADE Power Ltd is looking for experienced Fabricator / Welders to join our growing manufacturing team, building high-quality acoustic enclosures for customers across a range of industries.

Offering pay of up to £17.38 per hour, excellent benefits, a structured working week, and a 1pm finish every Friday, this is an excellent opportunity for a skilled fabricator looking for long-term stability and career development.

As a Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating and welding metal components, and ensuring all products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality and precision.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret engineering 2D and 3D drawings.
Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines.
Ensure all required parts for assembly are present before commencing work.
Check design specifications and dimensions prior to fabrication.
Fabricate and construct metal components and structures.
Grind, finish, and prepare completed products to a high standard.
Perform quality inspections on completed products.
Complete quality check sheets accurately.
Work in accordance with company Health & Safety procedures and standards.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Fabricator / Welder or Metal Fabricator.
Experience working with mild steel, Zintec and galvanised sheet ranging from 0.9mm to 30mm.
Experience working with mild steel sections from 2mm to 10mm.
Ability to read and interpret engineering 2D and 3D drawings.
Proficiency with fabrication equipment and metalworking tools.
Strong understanding of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to lift and handle large metal components.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Overhead crane experience is advantageous.
Welding qualifications or certifications are advantageous.

Working Hours & Pay

Up to £17.38 per hour, dependent on experience.
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
40 hours per week
Enjoy an early finish every Friday and start your weekend sooner.
The business is closed for Bank Holidays and we also enjoy a Christmas shutdown until after the New Year.
