Wilsons Carpets have the following vacancy:-

Role

Delivery Driver, Category B (3.5t)

Package

£13.10 per hour attended (plus OTE £260 per quarter attendance / attitude bonus).

Full Time Permanent Contract

Working Hours : 45hrs minimum per week, Monday to Friday from 05:00hrs

Location

Wath Depot, Unit 7 Houndhill Park, Bolton Road, Wath Upon Dearne, Rotherham, S63 7LG

Key responsibilities

Working within the transport team, duties will include:

· Conduct pre and post vehicle checks and record defects accordingly.

· Comply with all aspects governed by the working time directive.

· Performing the daily duties and deliveries in accordance with the timed schedule.

· Undertaking bed and furniture deliveries in a professional and courteous manner.

· Ensure your vehicle is cleaned both internally and externally.

· Work with the delivery and warehouse teams to load and unload stock onto our modern fleet of vehicles.

· Adhere to all policies and procedures towards Health and Safety.

Competencies/Key Skills required

· An excellent proven track record in a delivery role (one year minimum).

· Physically fit due to the nature of products (manual handling of carpets etc.).

· No more than 6 penalty points.

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
