Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Service Assistant specialising in Food & Beverage and Reception duties. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment. Fluency in multiple languages and prior hospitality experience are highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and service quality.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures at reception
Manage guest enquiries efficiently via phone, email, or in person, maintaining high standards of phone etiquette
Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
Take food and beverage orders, serve guests promptly, and ensure their needs are met with professionalism
Handle guest requests or complaints courteously, striving for prompt resolution and guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and dining spaces
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of front-of-house services
Assist with administrative tasks such as reservations, billing, and record keeping as required

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Multilingual or bilingual skills are highly advantageous for effective communication with diverse guests
Excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills are essential
Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services with a friendly demeanour
Organised, proactive, and able to multitask efficiently under pressure
A professional appearance and positive attitude towards teamwork and guest interaction
