Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Panel Beater to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for automotive repair and a strong work ethic to develop their skills within a reputable organisation.

Responsibilities

Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs in accordance with manufacturer specifications
Use hand tools and power tools to carry out repairs, including panel beating, sanding, and painting preparation
Perform bodywork repairs such as dent removal, panel replacement, and alignment adjustments
Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely when handling vehicle parts or components
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Collaborate with other team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes
Follow health and safety regulations at all times during repair procedures

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge of vehicle structures and repair techniques
Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength suitable for the role
Prior experience in a body shop or automotive repair environment is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all tasks undertaken
