Full job description

ACCOUNT MANAGER - STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS

Working closely with senior stakeholders both internally and externally, you will help ensure client requirements are met, issues are proactively managed, and service standards remain consistently high. A highly visible role offering significant exposure to senior leadership, strategic client management, and the commercial drivers behind a key account relationship. You will support the successful delivery, performance, and ongoing development of a major client relationship. The role will require travel, including to Manchester, Birmingham and client locations as required.

KEY OUTCOMES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the management and ongoing development of a major strategic client account.
Build strong, professional relationships with key client contacts and internal stakeholders.
Act as a day-to-day point of contact, ensuring client queries and requests are handled efficiently and professionally.
Produce, analyse, and present Management Information (MI), performance reports, and service data.
Monitor account performance against agreed service levels and contractual obligations.
Coordinate and track client actions, claims, service requests, and ongoing initiatives through to completion.
Manage complaints and escalations alongside relevant internal teams, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Attend client review meetings, operational meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and enhance the client experience.
Work collaboratively with Operations, Finance, Claims, Complaints, and other support functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and account documentation.
Support account planning activities and contribute to the retention and growth of the client relationship.
Ensure responsibilities specific to your role as detailed within BKH P001 Health & Safety Policy are complied with
Any other reasonable management request

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tamworth
