Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable General Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of outdoor and construction-related tasks, contributing to landscape maintenance, site preparation, and general upkeep. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in horticulture, gardening, and construction work, with hands-on experience using a range of tools and machinery. The position is suitable for those eager to develop their skills in maintenance, landscaping, and construction environments.

Responsibilities

Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and lawn care
Operating hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely and efficiently
Supporting excavation activities using excavators and other machinery as required
Installing and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscaped areas
Performing general site maintenance such as clearing debris, organising materials, and preparing work areas
Assisting with construction tasks including material handling and basic assembly
Conducting routine inspections of equipment and reporting any faults or issues
Supporting team members in completing projects on time and to high standards

Skills

Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
Mechanical knowledge related to machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and gardening equipment safely
Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety protocols
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Strong teamwork ethic with effective communication skills
Prior experience working with irrigation systems or in maintenance roles is advantageous
