Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to assist across 2 major projects in Luton, LU1.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to diverse infrastructure projects, utilise advanced engineering software, and develop professional expertise within a collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop detailed civil engineering designs using software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and ArcGIS.
Prepare schematics, system designs, and land surveying plans for various infrastructure projects.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively through comprehensive project management practices.
Conduct land surveys and analyse survey data to inform design decisions.
Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
Prepare technical reports and documentation related to project progress and compliance standards.
Assist in the development of innovative solutions for complex civil engineering challenges.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field recognised by relevant professional bodies.
At least 5 years proven experience in civil engineering design and project management.
Proficiency in industry-standard software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, ArcGIS, Mathcad, and CAD systems.
Strong understanding of land surveying techniques and system design principles.
Knowledge of construction processes and schematics development.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.
Membership or eligibility for membership of a recognised engineering institution is desirable but not essential. This position offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for professionals eager to advance their careers in civil engineering while contributing to impactful infrastructure projects.

Pay: £60,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
